Chisinau City Hall informs the on Tuesday has been launched the official Municipal Festival of Volunteers 2023. The activity will take place for the next two months: October 3 – December 3, 2023, and will end with Volunteer Gala (award of the most active volunteers) and ending the Year of Youth in Chisinau.

Young people from the Municipality who are actively involved in NGOs, in youth centers, carry out volunteer activities during 2023, are invited to join the Festival, during: October 3 – November 10: The form can be accessed on the FB page of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center, as well as on the mobile application „e-youth”.

The festival will begin with the Volunteer Marathon, during which young people from the Municipality are urged to participate in as many volunteer activities as possible and to post on social networks content with their selfless involvement in public activities. The most active and involved young people will be awarded in a special event.

Also, young people have the opportunity to complete the Voucher dedicated to the Year of Youth, getting involved in the activities within the Municipal Youth Centers and, having as many completed news, to win valuable prizes in a raffle organized on this occasion.

Present at the event, the General Mayor, Ion Ceban, appreciated the involvement of young people from the capital in recent years, in various activities of community interest, being with the employees of the Chisinau City Hall, both in the pandemic period through Covid-19 and in the refugee crisis of Ukrainians, being part of a creative and involved society. Volunteers from youth centers in Chisinau are also fully involved in thousands of other projects carried out by local authorities.

According to the Mayor, the Municipality continues to create additional tools to motivate young people to stay active in Chisinau and to create an army of people who care about the community in which they live and get involved to change things for the better.
