Chisinau City Hall will support the Children's and Youth Sports Club (CYSC) "Buiucani" for a period of 3 years, based on a collaboration Agreement. A decision in this regard was approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council.
The document sets basic objectives for promoting performance sports and healthy living among children, and Chisinau City Hall will support the divisional teams of CYSC "Buiucani", to participate in national championships and international tournaments in the football season 2020-2023.
The General Mayor, Ion Ceban, will sign on behalf of the municipality the collaboration Agreement with CYSC "Buiucani".
The Mayor expressed his hope that through this initiative the social mission of education through football will be realized, the main goal of which is to achieve the performance of young local talents in international football competitions. "In order to achieve this goal, the children's teams from the capital and the suburbs will be supported and motivated, by creating decent conditions for training", mentioned Ion Ceban.
Also, the image of the municipality will be promoted, by applying the "Chisinau City Hall" logo on the game equipment of the "Buiucani" senior teams, which will evolve in the "National" division and the "A" division.
At the same time, CYSC "Buiucani" will provide free education to 40 children from 6 to 12 years old, from different social categories, including children at risk in Chisinau, selected by the Club in cooperation with the General Department of education, youth and sports and the Municipal Department for the Protection of Child's Rights. Future players will be trained by a qualified coach and provided with the necessary sports equipment for training and participation in competitions.
