The Administration of the Chisinau City Hall commemorated the victims of the 1903 Jewish Pogrom.
On Thursday in Chisinau was held the Municipal Forum of Young Specialists, entitled "Professional insertion. The rights and guarantees of young specialists enrolled in educational institutions in the municipality of Chisinau in the 2023-2024 academic year".
The event was organized by the Chisinau City Hall and aims to motivate and maintain young people with pedagogical vocation in the municipal educational system.
The support of new teachers, as well as the development of professional skills is a priority for the municipality, which is why the Chisinau City Hall is making efforts to provide better conditions for employees in the municipal education system by stimulating creative activity and promoting advanced experience.
Attending the event, Mayor General Ion Ceban reiterated the authorities' call for young specialists from the capital's educational institutions to remain working in our country, to grow professionally and contribute to the education of generations of children, in order to discover their aspirations and talents and instill in them the desire for knowledge.
"I am grateful to all the teachers who, despite the various challenges, choose to carry out their work according to their chosen profession, thus contributing to the formation of generations of young people educated and involved in all aspects of society. There are no talented children without dedicated teachers who provide the necessary support at the right time," said the General Mayor.
In order to motivate young specialists from educational institutions, the Chisinau City Hall offers them a number of facilities, such as: compensation for renting space in the amount of 2000 lei per month.
In the period: January-November 2023, 233 young specialists benefited from this compensation per month on average.
Covering the salary-related expenses of teachers in the special education classes. For this purpose, financial means have been allocated from the municipal budget: in 2020 - 13.7 million MDL in 2021 - 14.2 million MDL in 2022 - 16 million lei and in 2023 - 85.4 million MDL.
