The Administration of the Chisinau City Hall commemorated the victims of the 1903 Jewish Pogrom.
Chisinau City Hall informs that on Friday, the Municipal Grant Program for Youth Organizations in Chisinau Municipality, edition 2024, was launched. Through this program, youth organizations from the capital city, as well as from the suburbs, can access non-reimbursable funds to implement projects aimed at promoting the personal and professional development of youth in Chisinau Municipality. The budget allocated for the implementation of the program in 2024 is 2.5 million MDL.
Present at the event, Mayor Ion Ceban urged our youth to be as active and involved in various activities as possible. He stated that in this context comes the support of the Youth Grant Program and youth organizations, whose budget has increased from 300 thousand MDL (in 2020) to 2.5 million (in 2024) and with projects ranging from 30 thousand MDL to 200 thousand MDL.
In this context, the mayor wished the youth to present interesting and successful projects within the Municipal Grant Program, and encouraged the best ones to succeed and implement their initiatives throughout the year.
The funding areas for projects submitted under the 2024 program are:
- Volunteering and services for youth
- Inclusion of youth with limited opportunities
- Economic opportunities for youth, employment in the labor market
- Promoting a healthy lifestyle
- Personal development of youth and life skills
The Municipal Grant Program for Youth Organizations in Chisinau Municipality was launched in 2020 by the Chisinau City Hall, through the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center, aiming to provide financial support to organizations in the implementation and realization of youth projects and programs.
In accordance with the budget for 2024, 2.5 million MDL were allocated for the conduct and organization of the Grant Program, with up to 200 thousand MDL allocated for the implementation of a project by the declared winning organization.
Grant Program Schedule:
- March 01 - March 19 (project submission)
- March 20 - March 26 (evaluation of submitted projects)
- April 01 (public communication of results)
- April 09 (conclusion of funding contracts)
- May 01 - November 30 (7 months for the implementation of the winning project).
