    Elaboration of the Zonal Urban Plan (PUZ) Center and of the Malina Mica neighborhood

    Chisinau City Hall informs that the urban documentation for 2 profile projects is currently being elaborated including the Zonal Center Urban Plan and the PUZ of the Malina Mica neighborhood. The Chisinau local public administration is to develop the respective PUZs in accordance with the legislative amendments provided that the municipal authorities are not entitled to issue building permits in areas that are not regulated.

    Statements in this regard were made at the operative meeting of the municipal services by Svetlana Dogotaru, the head of the General Department of Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations of the Chisinau Municipal Council.

    According to the chief architect of the city currently a team of specialists and representatives of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research reevaluates the Zonal Urban Plan (PUZ) for the central area of ​​the capital, a project developed in 2011 by the Municipal Design Institute "CHIŞINĂUPROIECT" Subsequently, the PUZ for the central area of ​​the city will be finalized in accordance with the legislation in force.

    At the same time, the members of the Urban Council are currently evaluating the planning and height of the buildings in the Malina Mica neighborhood for which the Zonal Urban Plan is also being elaborated.

    It should be mentioned that in the areas where the PUZs are being developed no building permits are issued.

    According to the General Department of Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations, work is still underway to develop the PUZ in the area of ​​Mesager Street; the PUZ for the Bic River area is being revived. At the same time the mapping and finalization of the General Urban Plan of Chisinau municipality is done. Chisinau City Hall collaborates with experts in the field from the Russian Federation and Romania.
