Chisinau City Hall informs that the local public authorities from Iasi, Romania, have donated to the municipality 200 thousand RONI, sources provided for the prevention and fight against COVID-19. The money will be distributed for the purchase of medical equipment and consumables for medical institutions in the capital.
Ion Ceban, the General Mayor of the capital,thanked Mihai Chirica, his counterpart from Iași for the help provided during this complicated period for the whole world, not only for Chisinau, mentioning that now any help matters. "I really appreciate this gesture given that it is not too easy across the Prut either and substantial financial sources are needed to fight COVID," the Mayor said.
The money from the donation from Iași will be distributed to replenish the stocks of medicines and consumables of the medical institutions in the capital.
