Chisinau City Hall informs that those wishing to support the authorities' efforts to prevent and stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus can donate financial sources to the municipality's account, through the government electronic payment service "Mpay".
The money accumulated will be distributed to municipal medical institutions for the purchase of protective equipment (masks, gloves, thermometers, glasses) and disinfectant products. The measure taken by the authorities comes to support the medical staff, who are on the front line, in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
"With such an exceptional situation, it was not prepared to confront any country in the world. Today, even the most developed states, which have a developed medical system, do not cope with the pandemic. Only together, with joint efforts, will we succeed," noted General Mayor Ion Ceban.
The municipality is working with representatives of the World Health Organisation and private diagnostic centers to impose new measures on COFID-19 infection.
