The General Mayor, Ion Ceban, together with the delegation from Chisinau that is currently in Romania, had a meeting on Tuesday with the President of the Buzau County Council, Petre Emanoil Neagu. The officials held a press conference together, where they informed about the joint projects already carried out in Chisinau, with the support of Buzau County, namely: the rehabilitation of the square in Nicolae Titulescu Street, Botanica district for which 2 million Moldovan lei were donated.
The Mayor of Chisinau also referred to the projects to be carried out during the current year, with the support of colleagues from Romania.
Ion Ceban personally thanked the President of the Buzău County Council, Mr Emanoil Neagu and the councillors, who recently approved another 8 million Moldovan lei for Chisinau, rehabilitate infrastructure objectives, in the Botanica and Buiucani districts.
One of the projects to be started refers to the rehabilitation of the Metropolitan Cathedral Square, in the city centre.
Also, this spring, in Chisinau, it is proposed to organize a joint meeting with the members of the Buzau County Council and the Chisinau districts' City Halls.
It is worth mentioning that, thanks to the good collaboration between Chisinau and Buzau County, last year the "Chisinau Days in Buzau" were organized, an event that is proposed to be continued in 2022.
The fruitful collaboration between Chisinau and Buzau takes place based on the Cooperation Agreement signed last year between the two local public administration authorities.
